ELMessenger Pro | What are Message Segments

ELMessenger Pro uses segments to create variations in your messages. These segments are typically used for Group Friender, Post Friender, and Broadcast campaigns.  Sending the same message to different people over and over is never a good idea; creating message segments will allow you to create variations of your messages to help reduce any potential flagging issues that you might come across.

Steps to Complete

1. Select the Tag you wish to set up your Message Segments 
2. Add your title for your segment
3. Press the plus symbol after you've added the message
4. Click Save after you've added the 3 messages
5. Click on Message Templates
6. Click on Tag and pull the title in for your Message segment
7. Click Add

We recommend creating segments with a minimum of 3 variations. 

Below you will see 2 segment sets, one Global Segment and another Tag Segment.

Tag Segments are segments used specifically for the tag they're associated with.  For example, if you are targeting Affiliate Marketers and you would introduce yourself using this 3-Part Formula. 

Part 1. Intro     

Part 2. Thing in common     

Part 3. Open-ended question related to the thing in common

    "Hi, {name} I see that you are interested in Affiliate Marketing.  I am too. Are you promoting anything at the moment?"     

    "Hello, {name} You and I are both into Affiliate Marketing.  Are you actively promoting anything?" 

Both of these messages are asking the same question but are worded differently.  Segments in ELMessenger Pro automatically randomize the content of your message so that it's not "robotic."

Add 3 or more variations.
